The colorful array of glass leaves in the Troy Corliss “Aspen Grove” welcomes patients and visitors to the Radiation Therapy waiting space. Fabricated in steel and kiln fused glass, the artwork integrates an experience of the natural world with interior architecture. The gentle curves of the tree trunks and the subtle patterning and warm colors of the glass leaves creates a three dimensional design that is both intriguing and calming. The Grove can be experienced as a powerful whole at first sight or explored with interest with repeated visits.
